About Me

Being organized comes naturally to me.  I've always been a list maker, thanks to my dad who leaves lists on little pieces of paper all over the kitchen counters.  For as long as I can remember I would plan out the clothes I was going to wear for the week on Sunday so that I wouldn't have to think about my clothing choices every morning.  In elementary school I would organize Violin lessons for a friend because she was having trouble practicing and I would plan out exactly what I was going to teach her and what music she was going to practice for the whole 30 minutes of lesson time... and I never let her get out of it either!  I guess its no surprise then that I went into teaching as an adult.  Now that I am a wife, a mom of 2 girls...

... and have a part time job, being organized has come as more of a need than just something I do (although I really love organizing so I don't mind being busy because that means I can organize my life).  I try to find balance, though, between being too scheduled and allowing for spontaneity.  I also work to try and make being organized something that makes life easier, not more stressful so I hope you find my ways of organizing helpful & that they inspire you to find ways of organizing that work for you.
